Soluble ST2 in Predicting Adverse Outcome after Revascularization with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction

چکیده
Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate relationship between soluble suppression tumorigenicity 2 (sST2) level and degree epicardial blood flow recovery in patients with myocardial infarction ST-segment elevation (STEMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention. Material Methods: involved 61 (83.6% males), a mean age 59.85±10.01 years. sST2 measured by enzyme immunoassay. Patients were divided into two groups. first group (n=12) included thrombolysis (TIMI) ≤II grade, second (n=49) TIMI III grade. Results: significantly higher hours disease decreased (TIMI ≤II) intervention (p=0.003). Receiver operating characteristics curve analysis showed that levels over 34.2 ng/ml, detected on admission, an independent predictor adverse revascularization STEMI sensitivity 92.3% specificity 62.5%; area under 0.811 (95% CI: 0.651 - 0.873; p=0.001). Both univariate (OR: 1.020, 95% 1.001-1.041, p=0.028) multivariate 1.030; 1.002-1.057; p=0.033) analyzes significant unfavorable outcome vascular ≤ІІ). Conclusion: is highly associated great clinical importance as prognostic marker.

Platelet-To-Lymphocyte Ratio as a Predictor of No-Reflow after Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients with ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Introduction: No-reflow increases the complications and mortality rate of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Therefore, it is important to identify patients at a higher risk of developing no-reflow. This study aimed to systematically review the prognostic value of the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) to predict no-reflow. Materials and Methods:</s...
متن کاملComparison of the Success Rate of Treatment with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention PCI versus Thrombolytic Treatment in Patients with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction in Local Hospitals in Iran
Background and Objective: Acute myocardial infarction (MI) is caused due to coronary artery occlusion and divided into two forms of ST-elevation (STEMI) and non-ST-elevation (NSTEMI) myocardial infarction. This study aimed to determine the success rate of treatment with primary PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) versus thrombolysis in the establishment of perfusion and to evaluate the sho...
متن کاملNo-Reflow Phenomenon in Patients with ST-Elevation Acute Myocardial Infarction, Treated with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Study of Predictive Factors
Introduction: No-reflow phenomenon in coronary vessels, manifested in some patients with reperfused acute myocardial infarction (MI), is associated with poor clinical and functional outcomes. Therefore, evaluation of predisposing risk factors can be helpful in risk assessment and identification of patients at higher risk. Herein, we aimed to study the predictive factors for the development of...
متن کاملEvaluation of ejection fraction in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention
Introduction: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a reperfusion strategy to increase life expectancy and ejection fraction (EF) in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. We investigated the effect of location, severity, type of lesion, number and type of vessel involved and time of angioplasty on the increase in EF in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI (P-PCI) a...
متن کاملPercutaneous coronary intervention in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
The culprit lesion in ST-segment–elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is usually occluded, thrombotic, and subject to vasospasm. These factors can make adequate sizing and deployment of stents in STEMI more challenging than in other clinical settings. Patients with STEMI are at high risk of adverse cardiac outcomes that may be improved with more complete stent apposition and expansion. These...
